Owner Forum Added 8/15/05

Under the user only area I have added a user forum where you can post messages.

You can use this area to notify other owners of special events, ask for advice or help. It's up to you, the owners, how you use this area.

Note: This is not a board question and answer area (no one from the board is currently monitoring the forum to respond to postings), so do not use to for asking questions you need a quick answer to. If you have concerns or need immediate help, call the marina office, or contact your bank representative by phone or in person.

Please keep postings civil and positive. Foul language or personal attacks will result in the forum being shut down.

To access the user area on the LOGIN PAGE select owner from the login box, type in the password provided with the last A.P. mailing, and click Login. YOU MUST CLICK the login button.

Web Changes

As you can see we have started to develop an Anchor Pointe WEB site.

Eventually we will have information on service, haul out, launch and any marina events.

It is my hope to also have an OWNERS only area, which you will need a password to access. In the private area we can include copies of the board meeting minutes and the Budget information and the Treasurers monthly reports.

It is our hope to have the Web site self financing, by selling advertising. Do you want to rent or sell your dock? We will have very reasonable rates.

As the site is developed we will add ways for you to contact your board, make requests for additions to the web site and place your advertisements.

Please be patient, as the site is only in a preliminary stage, and will require several months to get fully operational

I would like to see this web site self funding...

Charter boats - how about a page on our web site? Reasonable rates - one price for the whole season.

Dock owners, rates less than the local paper for your boat sales or dock rentals..

Winter Storage Savings:

Owners Only: Reserve your winter storage with half down by July 31st and get a 10% discount

7/23/05: At today's summer meeting the board was directed to reduce outside storage costs in building 5 to $1.50/sq ft in order to try and fill this under used building.

At this price it's competitive with shrink wrap so no excuses. Come and book your inside winter storage while there is still space available...

New Floating J Bank Docks:

The first set of replacement J bank docks have been delivered to the Marina. Early in July the first section was installed. A second section is to be installed before the end of the month.

Take a look at the new sections

....and try out the ones installed.

A big thanks to Jack Pisula and his crew for a job well done.

They are VERY solid and stable.

Funds from this years additional PAR amount are remaining to construct about twice the number of sections we currently have. These we will be built and installed at the end of this season
